Viking Shields

The Viking Shields sold by Armor Venue are crafted solely from wood and reinforced with brass bosses and studs, and covered with leather to strengthen the shield. These shields were used in the raids by Vikings back in the day, when they used to rob people of their valuables and supplies to help care for their own. The shields that were used were rounded like these shields which made it easy for them to move around and charge in a pack. The weight and size also made it a comfortable form of protection when wielding an axe or a sword in the other hand making it a suitable well rounded shield to carry around all day.
