The Trollsbane Axe has an axehead of high carbon steel that is pinned to a haft of hardwood. With its large and intimidating blade this axe is built to lay low targets of great size.
It is common for this item to have a slight wiggle in its fitting between axehead and wooden haft. This is an issue that can be corrected by pounding an axe splint into the top of the haft to forcibly expand the wood into a tight fit within the axe socket. We sell axe wedges that can be used for this purpose separately.
