This Roman Gallic I Acquinicum Helm is crafted from 18 gauge brass; the cheekplates are hinged and the helm spike is notched to allow for a crest to be fitted atop the helm. A small integrated ring on both the front and back of the helm can be used to secure and stabilize the crest.
The cheekplates have small brass rings that can be used to anchor a chin strap into place (chin strap not included). The interior of the helmet is unlined.
Please Note: It is common for these helmets to be tarnished. Its appearance can be greatly improved with a metal polish. Alternatively, scuff pads can be used to remove surface blemishes though the helm will be left with a brushed metal finish which may or may not be preferred.
