This replica of a New South Wales Fire Brigade Helmet is crafted from 20 gauge brass. The interior of the helmet is fitted with an adjustable, internal leather suspension liner. The chin strap is constructed from leather and embellished with brass rings. It is secured with a steel buckle.
Please Note: It is common for these helmets to have a large amount of tarnish, most of which can be polished away with some metal polishing paste. The leather liner is often loose and may need to be re-glued into position. Light rust may be on the steel buckle and may have stained the nearby leather.
