Medieval Gorget - 18 Gauge

When engaging in battle, neck protection is of the utmost importance in guarding against fatal wounds and this is where the Medieval Gorget will prove to be effective. The gorget began as a band of linen wrapped around a woman's head and neck before evolving into a piece of protective neck armor in the Middle Ages. With authentic medieval design, this piece features 18 gauge steel construction and is comprised of two halves which fit secure around the neck with the inclusion of adjustable leather straps and steel buckles. Two additional leather straps allow for pauldron attachment. Great for costumes and re-enactments.
