As an archer or sapper in medieval Europe, the Kettle Hat Helmet was the ideal piece to wear. Because it did not obstruct vision and allowed for ease of head movement, it offered great protection. It also paved the way for the Morion Helmet which followed in later years. Made by Deepeeka, this helmet is an authentically designed replica of the bowl shaped head gear, based on historical research. This version also comes complete with a rim. This Kettle Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel. The unlined helm is blackened on the inside. Included with the helmet is a padded cotton arming cap.
