The Kettle Hat 13th C. made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. The original design was a simple bowl with a big rand. It was particularly used by archers and sappers, for it allowed the head to move freely, gave a good protection against missiles coming from the top, and did not hinder eyesight. This 14th Century Kettle Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel.The blackened interior has an adjustable leather suspension liner. The helm is finished with an adjustable leather chin strap with brass buckle.
