Gallic 'F' Roman Helmet from River Cupa (Sisak)

The Gallic 'F' Roman Helmet from River Cupa (Sisak) made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. Based on the complete helmet found in the amphitheatre at Besan on France. Unusual use of all copper rivets on this helmet. The original helmet has sections of silver foil sheathing remaining on the fluted brow band and the front of the brow guard. Possibly what remains of a full foil sheathing as seen on a contemporary type F from the River Kupa at Sisak. Some of the original rivet heads were enamel-inlaid. This Roman Gallic ??F?? Sisak Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge steel with brass accents. The interior of the helmet is unlined and blackened - included with the helmet is a separate cotton padded arming cap. The cheekplates are hinged and fitted with two small rings that can be used to tie a chin strap onto (chin strap not included).

A brass slot atop the helm can be used to fit a crest holder and the two rings atop the helm can be used to stabilize a crest. (crest holder and crest not included).
