This Roman Lorica Hamata is crafted from wedge-riveted rings of mild steel which alternate with solid flat rings. Each ring measures 9 mm in diameter and 17 gauge in thickness; they are darkened for a more authentic appearance. The shoulder doublet panels are edged with stitched leather and their closure hook is cast from brass.
