This British Royal Artillery Gunner’s Sword has a blade of 1055 High Carbon Steel which is securely mounted into a hilt of brass. The grip is wood which is bound in black leather. On the spine of the blade is replicated the original maker’s mark of ”DAWES BIRMM” – (William and Samuel Dawes of Birmingham).
The sword is paired with a durable leather scabbard complete with brass fittings.
