Anne Bonny sailed and plundered the seas around the Caribbean with pirates the likes of Calico Jack Rackham, and Mary Read. Our gown, named after this female pirate, is quite the homage to this legendary lady.
The body is made of rich, red cotton velvet with an attached black overskirt accented in gold trim. The sleeve cuffs and front placard are of a gold and black striped metallic brocade with matching gold trim and gold lace. The dress has a full cotton underskirt, which gives this piece some true fullness and body when wearing it. The lace-up back with modesty panel, along with an attached black fabric tying belt, allows for a perfect period fit. 80% Poly and 20% Cotton with a 100% cotton under-skirt.
