The 13th C. Sword of St. Maurice (Turn) is truly one of the finest of medieval weaponry. It has an unsharpened blade forged from EN45 high carbon steel. The blade is hand-etched on both sides with crosses and symbology. The hilt components are mild steel and the grip is leather wrap over a wood core. The tang of the blade is peened over the pommel to ensure a solid construction.
The sword comes with a wooden scabbard bound in leather and fitted with a protective steel chape and wooden suspension loop.
