The Colonial Powder Horn with Brass Screw dates back to the colonial times of the 18th century where powder was used with muskets. This piece bears authentic design with craftsmanship from real bull horn which is hollow and waterproof, thus offering safe keeping for the powder. The top is secured by a wooden enclosure which attaches to one end of the included leather shoulder strap. The brass screw cap, which also serves as a funnel for refilling, holds the other end of the shoulder strap in place. Perfect for costumes and re-enactments.
