Additionally, scorching will not be a concern as the legs at each corner offer solid support while elevating the unit 3 in. from the ground. As for construction, the grill is crafted from top qulaity metal and is 100% hand riveted. The unit is framed in a simple metal box with a bottom platform comprised of a removable interior tray and slotted cutouts. This platform encloses small flames and hot embers, thus allowing for a campfire. As you move up the unit, you encounter a hinged grilling platform just half an inch below the top of the box, which ensures access to the fire below. And finally you will see a secondary cooking area made up of four raised corner flaps sitting 1 in. above the top of the box. Note – This product may show traces of soot from the forging process, as well as be slightly oily to ensure quality. We recommend burning away oil stains in the fire.
