Description
Emerging in the mid 12th century and carrying through the 13th century, the Great Helm was a piece of superior protection. Often worn over a smaller helmet, the Great Helm offered great reinforcement against weapon penetration. These helmets were common in the Crusades among knights and European armies and are somethimes referred to as “Crusader Helmets”. Made by Deepeeka, the Over wearer Great Helm accurately replicates those seen in old illustrations and monuments. Crafted of heavy duty 16 gauge steel, this helmet is sure to stand out and illuminate power. The helmet interior has a leather suspension liner which can be adjusted and it also has a chin strap of thick leather with an adjusting antiqued brass buckle.
