Description
This Full Mask Overlay is crafted to enhance protection for practitioners of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA). Worn over a standard fencing mask, it provides an added defensive layer, particularly guarding the back of the head and neck. The rear protection consists of a series of articulated rigid plastic plates, designed to move with the wearer while shielding against strikes. The hood is constructed from heavy-duty cotton, padded to absorb impact, and incorporates a contoured hard plastic plate that covers the throat, a vulnerable target in combat. Ventilation is thoughtfully integrated with eight holes,four on each side,to allow heat to escape without compromising safety. An adjustable webbing strap with Velcro ensures a secure and comfortable fit. Mask not included.
