The Woman’s Gorget was once a linen wrap that ladies wore around their neck before it came to be known as a piece of armor. As time went on and the need for neck protection surfaced, the gorget shifted from being a cloth piece to a steel or leather one. Designed with historical style, this armor features 20 gauge steel plates with a blackened interior. These plates fit around the neck with adjustable steel buckles and leather straps. In addition, attachment to pauldrons is enabled with the inclusion of leather shoulder straps. Great for costumes and re-enactments. 11 1/4” Wide
