This large Viking Axe has a hand-forged axehead of rough-polished high carbon steel which is mounted onto a stout haft of polished hardwood. The length of the axe handle allows it to be used both single-handedly or with two hands and is built with a slight curve into the haft for improved ergonomics. Hard-hitting, quick, practical and durable, it is easy to see why the axe was a favored weapon of the Vikings.
