Description

People have shaped these horns into a variety of objects over the centuries, bookends, sculptures, and most famously, drinking horns. The only limit is your own creativity. Each horn has been hand-polished, revealing a natural contrast between glossy highlights and weathered, textured areas. These are genuine horns, so no two are alike. You’ll notice the distressed marks and gouges along the surface, these come from the animal rubbing its horn against trees and rough terrain, a testament to its wild origin.

This piece carries the spirit of the animal and the land it came from, making it a striking accent for any home or hall. It even comes with its own handcrafted iron stand, ready to display proudly. Since this is a natural item, it may carry a faint odor at first, and the color and shape will vary with each horn,no two are identical. To maintain its integrity, you might need to re-coat the inside with beeswax occasionally. Simply melt the beeswax, pour it inside the horn, let it cool, then drain it out. For cleaning, use a gentle detergent and polish the exterior with vegetable oil to keep it from drying and cracking.

The natural blemishes and irregularities you see are marks of authenticity and history, they do not affect the horn’s use or durability. These elements remind us that this is a living piece of nature, shaped by time and the animal’s life.
