Description
This Viking Seax has a blade hand-forged from high carbon steel and a grip which is hand-carved from bone which was polished and etch with Viking Norse design. The bolster and pommel plate are brass and a seax is completed with a brass ring for a lanyard. Included is a tough sheath crafted from high quality vegetable tanned leather which was embellished with hand-set Viking design tooled into the leather before finishing it with a deep and earthy brown stain. The sheath is completed with brass rivets, bone scales and brass hanging rings which are cast into the form of entwined Norse serpents.
