Description
The Knights Templar were a religious military order forged in the fires of the Crusades, their presence marked by the unmistakable cross pattée they bore upon their surcoats. This sword is a faithful reproduction of the type carried by these warrior monks. The octagonal pommel, bearing a red cross on each side, is a distinctive symbol of their order. Forged from EN45 high carbon steel, the blade tapers gracefully and features a fuller extending over three quarters of its length, this groove lightens the blade and helps maintain its strength without sacrificing cutting power.
The crossguard is forged from solid steel, providing sturdy hand protection, while the grip is fashioned from wood and wrapped tightly in rexin, a durable synthetic leather substitute. The sword’s full tang construction, where the blade’s steel extends through the entire handle,is secured by a peened pommel, ensuring the weapon can withstand the harsh demands of combat. Accompanying the sword is a wooden scabbard, reinforced with steel fittings at the throat and tip, and also wrapped in rexin for grip and preservation. Wield this blade with the spirit of the Templar brethren, ready to stand firm and fight with honor.
