The crossguard is forged from solid steel, providing sturdy hand protection, while the grip is fashioned from wood and wrapped tightly in rexin, a durable synthetic leather substitute. The sword’s full tang construction,where the blade’s steel extends through the entire handle,is secured by a peened pommel, ensuring the weapon can withstand the harsh demands of combat.
