Description
This neck knife is a lightweight, practical tool carrying a hint of old-world character. The handle is crafted from stag antler tips taken from our collection of antique Nepalese armory, each bearing unique textures and markings shaped by time and nature. The blade is forged from modern stainless steel, selected for its strength and resistance to rust. A solid brass guard sits between blade and handle, providing a reliable barrier that improves both safety and balance.
Each knife is assembled here in our workshop in the USA, where traditional blacksmithing methods meet contemporary materials. The leather sheath comes with an adjustable thong, allowing you to wear the knife comfortably around your neck or even tucked under the arm, depending on your needs and activity.
Because stag is a natural material, no two handles are alike, differences in size, color, and grain patterns reflect the antler’s organic origins, making each knife truly unique.
- Blade length: 3 1/8″
- Overall length: approximately 7″ to 8″
Fun fact: Stag antler was often favored by medieval armorers not only for its toughness but also because its natural oils helped repel moisture, keeping handles from becoming slick or damaged during use in harsh conditions.
