Description
The St. Wenceslas Helmet made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. This incredible helmet is named after the famed Duke of Bohemia who fought against the Mongol armies. It typically had a convex top with a central ridge, which helped deflect force from the top. It features a gold-colored support that extends down as a nose guard, and is elegantly embellished. This helmet also comes with a gold-colored chain mail attached to the back for protection. The St. Wenceslaus Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel and embellished with brass overlay. The aventail is butted brass mail and the nasal bar is steel beneath the brass.
The interior of the the helm is fully lined in leather and even the nasal bar has leather behind it. The helm has an adjustable leather suspension liner and a tie chin strap of leather.
