Description
The Spanish Halberd by Marto of Toledo Spain is a reproduction of a 16th century Halberd used by the Spanish infantry of that time, fighting in the feared tight formation called “tercio”. The handle is made of wood, ornamented with fringed fabric plumes. The head is made in cast metal with a frontal axehead with double curved edge, a rear talon and a central straight spike. The etched floral motif decorations denote that this halberd is a parade arm.
