Description
Simple in styling and efficient in design, this long-bladed Rondel dagger would have been a reliable sidearm for the medieval man-at-arms who was finalizing their kit for campaign. The blade is thick and blunted for sparring, drills and stage and sport combat. Though lacking in adornment the carving of the hardwood hilt is well executed and the high carbon steel blade has a thickened ricasso for durability and a diamond cross-section to stiffen the blade. The dagger comes with a sheath of durable leather with stitched construction; an integrated belt loop and leather retaining ties to secure the hilt complete the sheath for wear.
