This dagger features a sturdy blade forged from fully tempered high carbon steel, with a broad flat interrupted by a deep fuller. This groove serves to lighten the blade without weakening it, allowing for quicker, more controlled movements essential in close quarters fighting. The guard, grip, and pommel are fashioned from solid nickel silver,a material favored for its resistance to corrosion and its capacity to be shaped with care,offering both balance and durability in the hand. The scabbard is made from black leather, reinforced at the throat and tip with nickel-plated fittings to protect the blade and facilitate a smooth draw. The blade’s maker employs traditional forging methods, aiming to recreate the qualities valued by warriors of the period.
