Description
As the shield of the Scottish Highlands, the Targe served as an excellent protective weapon. Possessing a metal center, this was a great defense against blades, muskets, and other weapon attacks from adversaries. Made by Deepeeka, the Scottish Targe is an authentic reproduction with a historically accurate design based on a wealth of research. Constructed of wood, this piece is covered in leather and features brass studs as decoration. The suede-covered back of the shield is finished with a thick leather arm strap and hand grip.
