When engaging in a re-enactment or sporting a Roman soldier ensemble, the Roman Standard – 3rd Praetorian Cohort will compliment nicely. Standards were common on the battlefield and were used primarily to identify the unit to which a fighter was a part of. Re-created after a traditional Roman standard, this is a piece of beauty that features an elaborate and detailed design finished in polished brass. It also has a small cross-bar with two red tassets and is attached to a wooden shaft that comes with two metal bars for convenient carrying.
