The Roman Soldier Military Lorica Segmentata Body Armor is modeled after the plate armor worn during the Roman Empire. It is characterized by assembling steel strips of metal to internal leather straps in a horizontal pattern on the body. Featuring 18 gauge steel construction with a polished finish, this body armor offers excellent protection. It is accented by beautiful brass fittings and hinges and includes leather thongs to tie the front and back together. In addition, front and back shoulder guards have been added for extra reinforcement. Fully functional and historically authentic, this body armor boasts of true Roman flair and is great for costumes, collections, and re-enactments.
