The Roman Officer Centurion Historical Helmet Armor is historically designed after the head gear worn by the Roman Imperial army and serves as a status symbol for those who held office as a centurion. Providing excellent protection, this piece features 20 gauge steel construction with a transverse crest on the front going from side to side. It is accented by brass at the bottom edge, layered steel on the top, and ornate brass rivets on the side. It also comes with a handsome horse hair plume, a movable steel visor in front, hinged shielding to protect the sides, and a neck shield in the back that will fit over a gorget. To ensure a secure a comfortable fit, adjustable chin straps and a leather suspension liner are included. Fully functional with Roman flair, this helmet is great for costumes, collections, and re-enactments
