When engaging in a re-enactment or sporting a Roman soldier ensemble, the Roman Dolabra Entrenching Tool will compliment nicely. These pick axes were common during battles and were effective as weapons and tools. Re-created after its original design, this piece features a carbon steel axe-type head with a thin, squared blade on one end and a curved, blade-like spike on the other end.
