Description
The rim of this Drinking Horn of Rollo is reinforced with brass shaped into traditional Viking knotwork, a motif commonly found in Norse metalwork that provides both durability and a nod to the craftsmanship of the age. The horn’s tip is fitted with a brass cap, designed to protect the natural material from damage and to complete the piece with a practical finish. It comes with an adjustable leather belt holster, enabling it to be carried much like the warriors and chieftains of the Viking era. Crafted from a genuine animal horn, it retains the natural curves and textures formed over time, each horn bearing its own unique character,a reflection of the Vikings’ skill in making use of the materials at hand. To maintain the horn’s finish and structural soundness, hand washing is recommended.
Please Note: Because this drinking horn is fashioned from natural horn, expect variations in size, shape, and color. Before use, it’s important to wash the horn thoroughly to ensure it is clean and safe for drinking.
