This Medieval Sallet Helm is constructed from 18 gauge steel; its visor is hinged on large brass pins and the interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined. Included with the helmet is a separate padded cotton arming cap which can be worn beneath the helmet for comfort and padded cushioning.
