Providing superb protection for the knee, thigh, and leg, this armor features 18 AWG steel construction with genuine cowhide leather to assemble six sections together. Each section has layered steel for added reinforcement and possesses special contours and provides great flexibility. Additional support comes from the side plates on both the poleyn and cuisse, as well as the folded steel edges at the top and bottom. To ensure a secure fit, four leather straps with steel buckles are also included. Every aspect of this armor has been well thought out and authentically designed in true medieval fashion.
