Description

Step into the role of a battle-hardened warrior with this finely crafted arming sword. The blade is forged from a blend of 1095 and 15N20 steels, skillfully pattern welded to produce the distinctive layered appearance known as Damascus steel. The smith has folded the steel between 400 and 520 times, a laborious process that aligns the layers and enhances the blade’s strength and flexibility. Through careful heat treating and tempering, the blade achieves a Rockwell hardness rating between 58 and 60, striking a balance that holds a keen edge while resisting brittleness.

The handle is fashioned from durable polymer, shaped to fit comfortably in the hand, while the crossguard and heart-shaped pommel are cast from pure brass, providing both protection and balance. Accompanying the sword is a hand-tooled black leather back sheath, crafted to protect the blade and make carrying easier on the march.

Before you wield this sword, it arrives well oiled to guard against rust. Regular maintenance with mineral oil will keep the blade in fighting condition and preserve its striking Damascus patterns.
