The Medieval Renaissance Detachable Visor Barbute draws inspiration from an Italian designed 15th century visorless war helmet. It is distinguished by a “T” or “Y” shaped opening for the eyes and mouth and its style is still seen in popular culture today. Featuring solid 18 gauge steel construction, this piece reaches down to cover both sides of the face with an arch-shaped opening. It comes with a detachable full face visor that includes 24 breathing holes for ventilation and secured by pins. Further enhancement is added with a leather liner that ensures a comfortable fit.
