The Medieval Fluted Buckler Shield is modeled after the small shields used in Europe during the Middle Ages and Renaissance periods. It is characterized by a central handle which sits behind the boss and commonly served as a companion weapon, especially in hand to hand combat. Featuring 14 gauge mild steel construction, this piece has a wooden handle riveted in place and a diameter of 15.5 in. It is light weight and convenient to carry.
