Description
This is a faithful reproduction of the WW1 Enfield M-1917 bayonet, bearing simulated WW1 dates to reflect its historical roots. The blade features traditional wood grips, held firmly in place by steel rivets, just as the original bayonets were crafted. Each bayonet is paired with a green steel-mounted leather scabbard, equipped with the correct hooks designed to attach securely to the U.S. infantry waist belt, ensuring it would have been carried in the field exactly as soldiers did during the Great War.
This bayonet was issued alongside the M1917 Enfield rifle and also served as the standard blade for military shotguns, often called “trench guns,” from the First World War through to the Vietnam era. Its sturdy construction made it a reliable tool for close combat and utility tasks in the trenches and beyond.
