Description
What an unbelievably flattering, powerful and intimidating look the Lorica Segmentata II offers. This piece has been carefully replicated after a Lorica that was found in Newstead, Scotland. It is believed that the original dated back to 2nd century A.D., so this is about authentic as you are ever going to find.
Made by Windlass Steelcrafts? from 18-gauge steel, our Lorica Segmentata II is a true representation of the fierce Roman soldier at the peak of the Roman Empire. Although it cannot completely replace the Scale Armor (Lorica Squamata) and the Mail (Lorica Hamata #MR300398), it does typify the Roman Army of this time. It comfortably accommodates a 41 inch chest (leather ties can add a couple more inches of adjustability), and steel hooks are used to hold up the torso. This armor is fully articulated to allow for a full range of movement. Weight: 18 lbs. Made of 18 gauge steel
Features steel hooks to hold up torso
Fits chest sizes up to 41″
Accurate design modeled after a type excavated in Scotland
