The Medieval Knight Arming Jacket (Large) has a significant place in history for being a bridge between bulky armor to lighter padded pieces as the 15th century moved into the Renaissance era. While still providing superior protection from opponents’ blows, arming jackets offered greater comfort and flexibility. Following the original design, this doublet features a 100% cotton outer shell and inner lining which holds wool and cotton padding in between. It also has tie strings and eyelets which enable attachment of other armor.
