Keeping with the traditional design that is characterized by a visor that is hinged at a single point in the center of the brow of the skull, this piece features 14 gauge steel construction with a blackened interior and cotton suspension liner. It is highlighted by a visor which raises and secured in the down position with a buckled strap. It also allows for attachment of a chainmail aventail with brass fixtures. Great for costumes and re-enactments.
