Description
With a mirror-polished blade forged from 440 stainless steel and etched with detailed designs, this sword pays tribute to King Solomon, the famed biblical monarch of Israel known for his wisdom and revered across Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The golden-plated guard is adorned with Lions of Judah wearing kippahs at the ends of the quillons, symbols tied to the Israelite tribe of Solomon, his father David, and David’s descendant, Jesus of Nazareth. At the center of the crossguard, an inset features a Menorah on one side and an image of two figures carrying the Ark of the Covenant into the First Temple of Jerusalem, constructed under Solomon’s reign,on the reverse. Both images rest upon a Star of David, a powerful emblem of Jewish identity.
The handle is accented with gold rings and wrapped in faux leather for grip, while the pommel is crowned with a large Star of David. The scabbard’s chape and locket are etched with intricate scenes, including a depiction of the Queen of Sheba’s visit to Solomon, framed by the many gifts she brought to the legendary king. This sword comes in three handle colors,Black, Blue, and Red,and is accompanied by a matching dagger, providing a complementary set for display.
King Solomon was the third and final king of the united Kingdom of Israel, whose reign is often called its golden age. Jewish tradition credits him with authoring three biblical books, the Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Songs, all classic works of Wisdom Literature, a genre common in the Ancient Near East that offers reflections on life, nature, and the human condition. His legacy continues to influence over half of the world’s population through the Abrahamic faiths.
