Description

Step into the role of a Viking chieftain and wield a sword crafted with the skill and traditions of the old blacksmiths. This blade is forged from a carefully combined blend of 1095 and 15N20 steels, layered and folded between 400 to 520 times to produce the distinctive pattern welded Damascus steel. The repeated folding not only creates the swirling patterns but also refines the blade’s grain, resulting in a balance of toughness and flexibility. Tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 58-60, this blade is sturdy enough to hold a keen edge while absorbing the shocks of battle.

The handle is a blend of natural materials chosen for both durability and grip. Real camel bone forms the core, sandwiched between two slabs of sheesham heartwood, a dense and resilient timber prized for its stability. The guard and pommel, cast from pure brass, are adorned with simple yet meaningful X-shaped designs, reminiscent of Viking symbolism and craftsmanship. This sword comes with a red-brown leather sheath, hand-tooled and edged with black, designed to protect the blade and ease its carry on long journeys.
