This bayonet is built with a Bowie-style blade tailored for the Enfield No. 5 Jungle Carbine, a rifle carried by British and Commonwealth troops during the thick of World War II. The blade carries the “RFI” stamp, marking its origin at the Rifle Factory Ishapore in India, a vital armory supplying the British Empire’s forces. The blade itself measures 7-3/4 inches, fitting neatly into the bayonet’s total length of 12 inches. It comes paired with a robust steel scabbard, designed to shield the blade from the rigors of campaign life. The whole piece reflects traditional smithing methods, staying true to the original designs used in the mid-20th century.
