Description

This is the Dragons Rapture Japanese Samurai Katana Sword, a weapon crafted with attention to traditional methods and materials. The blade measures 26.75 inches and is forged from high carbon steel, featuring a visible hamon,a temper line that reveals the differential hardening technique used to give the edge its sharpness and the spine its resilience. The blade arrives slightly sharpened, ready to be honed further by the wielder.

The saya, or scabbard, is made from solid wood and finished with a deep blood red lacquer, accented by wisps of black smoke, evoking the fierce spirit of the dragon it represents. It is equipped with a traditional bull horn sageo cord, used historically to secure the scabbard to the belt or for ceremonial purposes. Both the aluminum alloy end cap and the scabbard throat are adorned with detailed scenes, reflecting the artistry often found in samurai equipment.

The handle, or tsuka, is crafted from wood and wrapped in black nylon cord in the traditional braided style, providing a secure grip for precise control. At the pommel, a zinc alloy fitting shaped like a dragon adds both balance and symbolic protection. The guard, or tsuba, made from aluminum zinc alloy, features an oval shape with two dragons entwined,a motif symbolizing power and wisdom. A decorative habaki, the blade collar, secures the blade firmly within the handle, ensuring stability during use.
