Description
The Iron Gladiator Shoulder Guard made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. In Ancient Rome most Gladiators fought with relatively little armor. The armor they did use was intended more to prolong the fight than protect them from wounds. The Iron Gladiator Shoulder Guard is generally associated with the ”Retiarius” Gladiator. The Retiarus fought with a trident and a net with no shield or helmet. The shoulder guard was generally worn on the left side and would hopefully protect the neck from a slicing blow. Our version is made of solid iron with leather straps. This incredible piece is great for your next Ren Fair, role-playing performance or to simply add to your collection!
