Description
This Einar round feasting bowl is fashioned from genuine natural horn, a material long valued by smiths and craftsmen for its toughness and distinctive character. The bowl’s rounded form and moderate size make it well suited for serving mead or ale during communal gatherings, much like those held in Viking mead halls or medieval banquet halls. The brass rim is skillfully fitted to reinforce the horn, helping to prevent cracks while adding a subtle gleam that would have caught the eye of warriors and chieftains alike. Each bowl carries the unique grain and coloration that come from natural horn, so no two vessels are exactly alike, reflecting the organic nature of this ancient material. To maintain its condition, it should be cleaned gently by hand, avoiding harsh soaps or soaking.
