Gladiators who fought in the arena were a special breed of fighters. Tough, deadly, and doomed to death, they were the spectacle and entertainment of the Roman Empire. Their helmets were just as unique as their purpose. This replica has been meticulously hand-crafted to ensure historic authenticity. Our replica is superb and can be used for reenactments or be put on display. This Gladiator Helmet is constructed from 18 gauge brass; the interior of the helmet is blackened and unlined. The faceplate and throat guard are separate components and one or both can be removed if desired.
