Description
This Brass Scale Arm Armor for a Gladiator is made from 20 gauge brass scales which are laced onto a canvas backing with wire. The armor is framed and edged in leather and finished with an interior layer of leather to protect clothes and skin from contact with the wire. A set of adjustable leather straps and steel buckles affix the armor to the arm. Elastic straps for the palm ensure a good fit for the hand. The long upper strap encircles the torso – you may want to include another strap of your own make to cross the shoulder prevent the armor from sliding down the torso.
