Description
The Gjermandbu Helmet made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. This incredible helmet takes its name after the town it was found in and was used by Vikings. Similar to the Norman style, this helmet has a few differences. It features a rounded crown reinforced with horizontal and transverse metal strips and rivets. The top contains a spike and a face guard that protects the eyes and nose. It also comes with a chain mail attached to the rim of the helmet for protection of the neck and lower face. This reproduction of the Gjermundbu Viking Helmet is made from 16 gauge steel. It has a camail of butted chainmail and its interior is entirely lined with leather. Inside the helmet is a fitted leather suspension which can be adjusted to size. A leather chin strap with antiqued brass buckle completes the helmet for wear.
